Anupam Kher is soon going to be seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ which is a film on Kashmiri Pandit refugees. The actor has been keeping busy shooting for the film in Mussorie. The film holds a special place in his heart and the actor writes a special note for the same.
Sharing pictures of him with the director Vivek Agnihotri, he wrote, “Vo Subah Kabhi Toh Aayegi! #TheKashmirFiles is a heart wrenching film for me. Both as a #KashmiriPandit and as an actor. Waiting to share this difficult journey with the world. My director @vivekagnihotri may not be form Kashmir but he knows our story inside out !#Exodus #Refugees”
Film The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990’s. It is not just from an Indian perspective rather it is about the victims of terrorism. Through the film, the team wants to tell the world about the horrifying event that took place.
Recently the shoot of the film came to a halt after Mithun Da fell ill on the sets. He suffered from food poisoning but after a day’s rest he was back on the sets.
Film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Puneet Issar.
