King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan performed the rituals of Ganpati Visarjan and bid adieu to Lord Bappa!
The ‘Don’ star posted a black-and-white, half-faced selfie on Twitter, and also shared a sweet message for his legion of followers. It read “Prayers and visarjan done… This #GaneshChaturthi, may Lord Ganesha bestow upon you and your loved ones, blessings, and happiness… Ganpati Bappa Morya!”
The 10-day festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi, the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha, began on August 22. The festivities will end with the final immersion of the Ganesha idols, called the Visarjan. The festival is celebrated with much grandeur in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat among other states.
Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK was last seen in Raees and Zero, a post that he hasn’t announced any movies but under his home-banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, he has a series of films and series coming out soon.
Their next upcoming film, Bob Biswas, in association with Sujoy Ghosh’s Bound Script Production, is currently on floors. Starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead, the movie is the directorial debut of Diya Annapurna Ghosh.
Unannounced projects are yet to come such as Latai, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Shah Rukh Khan and Dia Mirza, produced by Khan, Hirani, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, then the next film is Darbadar, directed by Nishikant Kamat and stars Khan, Aayush Sharma, Ananya Panday, and Amyra Dastur, produced by Khan and Karan Johar, then the other film will be Bijilee Ki Raatein, directed by Vikramjit Singh and stars Arjun Kapoor and Shivaleeka Oberoi.
