Actor-producer Ajay Devgn is all set to bring to Abhay Deol and his nephew Karan Deol on a big screen for the first time in a film titled ‘Velley’. ‘Zakhm’ actor has purchased the rights of 2019 Telugu crime comedy ‘Brochevarevarura’ and he will produce Hindi remake of it.
Ajay Devgn hasn’t made an official announcement about it but film trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the news by tweeting: “Actor @ajaydevgn has bought the Hindi remake rights of 2019’s Telugu crime comedy #Brochevarevarura. He will produce it with others starring in the remake.”
The Telugu original was written and directed by Vivek Athreya. The film starred actors Sree Vishnu, Nivetha Thomas, Nivetha Pethuraj, Satyadev Kancharana, Priyadarshi Pullikonda and Rahul Ramakrishna in key roles.
Karan Deol made his Hindi film debut ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass’ in 2019. It was directed by his father Sunny Deol. He will also be seen in Anil Sharma’s upcoming film ‘Apne 2’ with grandfather Dharmendra, uncle Bobby Deol and father Sunny Deol. Whereas, Abhay Deol was last seen onscreen in a Netflix film ‘What Are the Odds’.
Ajay Devgn will next be seen in multiple films such as Rohit Shetty’s cop-action drama film ‘Sooryavanshi’, Abhishek Dudhiaya’s war-drama film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, S.S Rajamouli’s period action drama film ‘RRR’ and Amit Sharma’s biographical sports film ‘Maidaan’.
He is also producing Abhishek Bachchan starrer biographical crime film ‘The Big Bull’ and Kajol starrer social drama film ‘Tribhanga – Tedhi Medhi Crazy’.
Devgn is also directing and acting in edge of the seat drama film ‘Mayday’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and Angira Dhar in key roles.
